About me…
A few years ago I realised I needed some help navigating things, so I reached out to a therapist. The first one I met with was not the one I ended up working with! I strongly believe that finding someone who fits for you is essential. I also know from experience, how difficult it can feel to reach out to another human in good faith.
My own therapy was a surprising journey of discovery which helped me to understand myself better and led to me making choices which enabled me to really feel like ‘me’ again, and happier in life. I realised the importance of someone not just listening, but really hearing my voice, and that changed things for me.
I spent the last 26 years in Education, before training at The Norwich Centre, and have a Post-Graduate Diploma in person-centred therapy. I am also a Trauma-informed practitioner and member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors Psychotherapists).
If you decide to work with me, I am committed to walking alongside you at this moment in your life. Exploring together what is going on for you, offering you warmth and genuineness as we do that, and finding a way forward which feels right for you.
